Impresionantă mărturie a unui medic stomatolog, Gloria Polo care, în 5 mai 1995, în urma unui trăsnet devastator, a ajuns în moarte clinică şi astfel sufletul ei a trăit o experienţă unică, ajungând, cum spune ea, “la porţile Cerului şi ale Iadului” .
O mărturie de la cel care a trecut prin Rai şi Iad, care a auzit glasul Celui Care a creat toate, Care este Iubirea infinită, Care ne vrea fericiţi pe toţi, Care atât de mult a iubit şi iubeşte lumea, încât L-a dat sacrificiului suprem pe Însuşi Unicul Său Fiu, Iisus Christos, făcut Om, pentru salvarea ei, nu poate decât să ne „trezească” din indiferenţă şi să trăim astfel încât să putem dobândi viaţa veşnică, Raiul, fericirea fără de sfârşit.
Unii vor spune că le ajunge ceea ce ne spune Biblia şi Biserica lui Christos. Şi, totuşi, o mărturie care readuce în actualitatea imediată mesajul biblic nu poate decât să ne intereseze, să ne cutremure, să ne bucure, fiindcă e în folosul tuturor, şi nu contravine cu nimic mesajului biblic, dimpotrivă, îl întăreşte.
This second edition – twenty-six years after Gloria Polo’s electrocution and ten years after the publication of the first edition edited by Flaviano Patrizi – is the only edition in the world supervised by Gloria Polo.
It is not a mere transcription of Gloria’s oral testimony, a transcription that would be inadequate to convey Gloria’s total communication, but it is a literary work that is extremely faithful to Gloria’s original narrative. The text, therefore, offers guarantees of authenticity and is suitable for conveying to the reader what in an oral testimony would escape the listener’s attention.
This second edition, which became necessary for the reasons given in the proem, contains many new unpublished narratives and explicates the many implicit contents present in Gloria’s oral testimony and in the first edition of it, explications that cast a new light on Gloria Polo’s experience and make it fully understood. The text is accompanied by notes and biblical references.

WARNING
Dr. Gloria Polo never wrote her testimony herself, but left it to the theologian Flaviano Patrizi-who has shared eleven years of mission with her so far-to draft a literary version of it and supervised its content. So all other texts that list Gloria Polo as the author are, in fact, mere transcriptions of Gloria’s limited and terse oral testimony.
